Welcome! :) As those of you that follow Pumpkin Hollow Primitives know, I am an avid garage saler, thrift shopper, and flea market attendee. My passion to collect anything and everything has created a lot of inventory in my house and on my basement shelves. Since my best times are spent flea marketing, I decided to create a flea market site to sell all the excess "great deals" that I just couldn't pass up! LOL There will also be handcrafted items created by myself and my son. Items will be added to weekly, and I will gladly hold items to combine shipping. Just drop me an email if there is an item that you are interested in purchasing. Since there will be additional postings of similar items, I will create a list of particular item groupings on the sidebar to make finding a treasure easier. So... grab a cup of coffee (in my case tea!), sit back, and browse the deals... thanks for stopping by!

Hand Painted Primitive Bowl Fillers with Salt Box Houses, Crow, Chicken, Sheep, and Primitive Sayings

Up for sale are three primitive softball fillers that have been hand painted, scuffed and sealed with a coat of varnish.  The photos were taken with each ball in the same placement in the arrangements.  The first ball in the upper left hand corner features a white saltbox barn, black polka dotted chicken, and the sayings "old friends welcome" and "where love resides".  The second ball, located in the upper right corner, features a burgundy salt box house, white sheep, and the sayings "primitive gatherings" and "peace, love, joy".  The third ball features a black crow silhouette in a star, a pineapple, and the sayings "live, laugh, love" and "simplify".  These softball fillers would be wonderful alone on a shelf or in a bowl arrangement.

Primitive Softballs are $15.00 each + actual shipping.

Please email any questions.  I do accept special orders, too! :)

Primitive Hand Painted Halloween Softball Bowl Fillers with Black Cats, Candy Corn, and Witch

Up for sale are two hand painted softballs in a Halloween theme.  The first ball is located in the upper left hand corner of the pics and has a black smiling cat, a witch flying past the moon, and has written "a black cat to cross your path" on one side and "midnight and a witch's flight" on the other.  The second ball, located in the lower right hand corner of the pics, has a large candy corn, a primitive cat with a long tail, and has written "magic candy corn" and "a black cat to cross your path".  Both softballs have been scuffed for a nicely worn look and sealed with a coat of varnish.  They would be perfect sitting alone on a shelf or in a bowl with other fillers and potpourri.  These softballs are 15.00 each + actual shipping.

Questions are welcome, and I do take special orders on these!  :)

Naughty or Nice Hand Painted Vintage Christmas Sled

Sled's are a tough items to guess the shipping on, so I have decided to list most of them on my selling blog instead of Etsy.  There is a Santa sled that will be making it's arrival soon so check back for updates! ;)

This sled is entitled "Naughty or Nice?".  The design was created by tole artist Shirley Wilson.  The vintage sled stands approximately 41 1/2 inches tall.  The wooden seat of the sled is approximately 25 1/2 inches tall with the painting of the bear in the stocking measuring 16 inches tall.  The photo below represents the colors of the sled most accurately.

Here is a close up of this little girl!  The reds in the background are photographing brighter than actual color, due to the flash.  See photo above. :)

The teddy bear and stocking are painted with a dry brush and pouncing technique on one side of the wooden seat, leaving the back side as exposed vintage wood.  The painted surfaces are sealed with two coats of matte sealer.  The chrome is left in its "as found" state with some of the shine gone (see pic), along with the red runners and original rope (How cool is that?).

This sled would look great with some pine bough limbs, but I will leave that up to the new owner! ;)

The price for the "Naughty or Nice" sled is $115.00 + Shipping.  :)

** If you have your own personal vintage sled that you would like to have me paint on or a favorite subject that you would like to have one decorated with,  email for a price quote.  :)

Vintage Little House Books & Joy of Cooking

Up for sale is the Little House on the Prairie books by Laura Ingalls Wilder.  Do not worry the price tags on them come off easily, and I am running them cheaper on this site.  The two books in the middle are vintage the others were printed fairly recently.  The top left book is a new addition of Farmer Boy without a cover.  These are in gently used shape.

* SOLD   Little House on the Prairie  &   By the Shores of Silver Lake

The books below are all library discards with the exception of one of the Little House in the Big Woods.  They are not missing any pages, most have dust jackets,  and still have many years left of reading to them.  I like to collect library copies personally, because the bindings are made tougher. ;)

These copies are for sale at $3.00 each.

Below is a copy of The Joy of Cooking by Irma Rombauer from 1975.  It has it's dust jacket and is in very good shape.
